    Once you've heard one Foo Fighter album, you've heard them all, like I said. They depend a bit TOO much on hooks, IMO. A lot of rock and rap today depend WAY too much on hooks, too. :\

    so youre pretty much right. there are definately select foo songs that stand out but most sound the same and mehhhh.....the new cd is nothing special

    Only heard The Pretender so far, might wait to see what other singles come off it before commiting to buy :)

    I love the music video for The Pretender as well as the song its self. I'm thinking about picking it up.

    A friend of mine said it's the best Foo Fighters cd and it'll change your life lol, so I'll check it out ^_^

    It's a great album, IMO even greater so when compared with The Colour and The Shape. And yea I guess you could say they sound the same but the lyrics to this album really pull it through.

    The Pretender is a really great song. Many other good songs too.

    The new Foo album is garbage. It's nothing special.
    They need to make more songs as moving as The Best of You. It's their only good song to me.
