Not that I'm against the steal credits in any way, i like the idea. anyways. say I have 10k. I put it in my bank. I see a really nice thing for auction. But, in order to bid, I need to have the credits on hand. Or else the person'll be like "OMG U DUN HAVE NE CREDITZZZ I R NOT SELLIN 2 U". but if I withdraw my credits to prove it, they'll be stolen. so now what?
seems like a serious problem for the marketplace, people will be just searching for members with lots of credits maybe a bank to bank transaction?
This is a very evident flaw, but at the time none of the current staff are aware of a way to make it so that for instance, you have 5-10 minutes after withdrawing before you can be robbed.
Aside from that, my main point is. The person you're buying from cannot see how many credits you have. Someone with no creds could just be like "yeah. i have 1000 credits in my bank, i dont wanna get robbed. sent that .psd please." and the other person's like, ok. and sends the .psd.
The problem with this is people can falsely bid and bring up a friends auction without having to show they actually have the credits. Then again, the "Steal Item" in the shop costs 1500 credits so I don't think someone is going to waste their time trying to steal the same amount they just used to buy the item. If you keep 1500 on hand in your account, you should be safe from people trying to steal from you and should also be a sufficient amount to use for bidding on auctions. It might be a problem if you bid on multiple auctions but I guess first things first.
If you are a seller, and are unsure if the person has the credits, contact myself or any other administrator, and we will check to verify they do have the credits they say they do until we can find a better way to display this.
i actually like that idea of a bank to bank transaction........you can do it in real life so why not the person selling could ask the other person to post a screen shot of the credits in the bank
