Suggestion On Credit Stealing

With all the members that are complaining about them buying credits and instantly losing them, I have thought up a suggestion for our great staff.


If a person buys credits through the shop, their credits cannot be immediately stolen.
This person has anywhere between 1-3 days (staff can think of a different waiting period) of immunity from stealers.

That way, people won't be constantly wasting their money on credits, and they won't be complaining as much.


Simpler version:
Person A Buys credits via shop.
Person A is immune from credits stealing between 1-3 days. (staff can think of a different immunity period)
After 1-3 days, people with the steal option will be able to indulge themselves with Person A's credits.


Also, Person A (if he has the steal option) may not steal credits during immunity.

 

I don't know if it's manageble and if such a mod exists but it really makes good sense.

We actually have been looking into making this possible, so people who buy from the GR Bank (to help bring revenue to the site) aren't capable of being targeted and have the time to deposit the credits into their bank.

On the other hand, the admins are the only ones who deal with the GR Bank, and we can put the credits into their bank account off the bat, which is likely what we will be doing (you also take no deposit fees this way).

I said mod since that's basicly what you need to do when installing something new, installing a (php2?)mod.

If people who purchase credits from the GR bank are immune to getting their credits stolen, members will be encouraged to purchase their credits from there as opposed to purchasing credits from other members on this site. Shaggy will be rich.
It's already hard enough to sell your credits though, it would make that problem worse. But I like the idea, you get immunity for a certain period of time.. could work!
