    1) I am not sure why, I think the admins and the staff members involved like the idea of a silent weapon so to speak, where credits would be disappearing and people wouldn't know exactly why. As I said, I wasn't a part in the conversation. 2) 20,000 is a large loss, unfortunately, your loss, as I am looking at the logs at this moment, were not incurred by moderators, but by the regular members of the site. There were hints, and there were of course huge recommendations to use the bank, and a lot of people took our recommendations, some people didn't and ended up getting hard because of it.

The losses occurred in the early morning today were mostly through the 3 moderators who went a little haywire with the item, and as mentioned, they are being dealt with, though will likely remain staff, and just be slapped on the wrists so to speak, however there is a warning about this in staff that if the abuse continues they will be removed, so its not something we are taking lightly. We will be refunding EBK partially, because himself losing 100,000 credits because mods felt he didn't need them, and they were useless is a little disappointing coming from a co-staff individual on the same team as them. I believe a few others will also be refunded, but none so much as EBK, due to his substantial credit loss over everything else.

I would like to mention that certain members also played a large part, though for staff, those were the 3.

i didnt use the bank demetia because it was flawed at the start, everyone put in credits and didnt get them back, i didnt want to bother with the hassle of that, then i never got news of it being fixed or i would of, the first day the board came back online i put in creds but then i saw someones dissappeared so i took them out. and if i new the item was comin out i would of. expecially when i have real life matter and cant get on the computer to hide my creds from them being stolen. I was goin to sell them for real life use, i dont have paypal so i have to use my friends which is a hassle cause his dad has to watch, i cant get a job cause nobody hires 15 year olds. i need the money to fix up a car so i can get to work and not rely on anybody else. sure it would of been like 60 dollars if i sold them but when i think about how far the 60 bucks can go it is amazing. to me i feel like everybody personally stole money because technically that is what the creds are on this site, you cant go to a bank and buy an item to steall money from other accounts, this wouldnt matter what so ever if the creds could get sold.

This is an understandable circumstance, however I do believe a news topic was posted when the bank was reopened (and the reason the bank didn't work at first is because Shaggy got impatient with the site being down for 2 days and reopened everything prematurely before all the coding could be checked and tested). I understand your position in that you were hesitant of the bank, but also remember that most people who used the bank at first could PM a mod and they would remove the credits in the bank and return them to being on hand (I personally did this for about 20 members). I understand credits are sold for cash, I have considered personally selling my credits for cash because my RL issues atm are highly limiting my cash flow, however, again, we are thinking for the community, and not the individual, some people will get hit harder than others, and the initial hit is always the worst, but over time I and the other staff and quite a few members believe this will create a better economy on GR, and we try to look at the big picture rather than the small picture and individual users in circumstances like this which concern the site as a whole.

bank active isnt a very good title. i usually dont like to read all the pages of every news thread and i still thought that was about right when the bank was started, it just says active, not fixed, if the thread was "bank fixed" i would of used it because i no it works. i also dont like being the bother some which i why i dont like to deal wit hthe hassle of my creds are stuck in thet bank, let me take ur time to get them back. but i guess i should only care for myself and not others.

and not braggin or anything but im not bad in graphics and i sold sigs at 500 a peice, how is that not reasonalbe to the "poor" members. when eccentric and the the word we arent allowed to say people where here they all sold their tags at 2k or even 3k. i personally sold them for that so that the not so good artists could learn from psds and not fore a ton of creds, i dont see how that was hurting the system. i see the people with 100k creds and they dotn sell anything or buy anything and i no they are for show, i was at least buyin things that i liked with them

Only like 5 people in the history of GR to ever have over 100,000 credits.

Myself, EBK, BFTP, HaVoC... and I can't remember anyone else.

HaVoC bought them all and sold them all for the same amount, he just wanted the high amount of credits, BFTP used them to buy alot of resources and distribute them mainly on iGO, but a few on GR, EBK I can't speak for as I never really noticed anything he bought with credits, or him selling credits to buy something on the site, and I myself use credits on a dialy basis, but as of the last 3 weeks ish I have just been stock piling them because I haven't found anything worth buying and making a tut on and giving out for free.

Xelink came up with the idea.
    Logic made the item.

Marforce, Kirbir, and Leetsauce are the staff members which abused the item.
