I suggest not to use tuts, its copying someone else's creative design. Force one out of yourself if you have to. This piece is very odd, horrid lighting, the effects are random and the stock just seems out of place. scrap and redo with better flow, lighting, and effects.
LOL. using a tut is not copying someone elses creative design, its meant to be copied thats why the creatormade it so you can learn new things by trying out their processess.
says the noobie with 5 posts and no work to show. i wouldnt call this a failure, but its true the lighting could using some work. i think your render could be centered better and a flow should be introduced better. also some contract would work and not so much random effects. not a failure, just needs work
Tutorials aren't made to be copied off of.. :blink: They're made to guide someone or to to give an idea as to how the signature was made, not to try and duplicate the piece. Anyways, about the tag..It needs some darker areas imo, and I agree with "oh" for the most part, but I don't think it needs to be scrapped or the lighting is horrible.
