    well i posted this system earlier this year, i still havent gotten money things keep gettin in the way, im sure im gonna get it by the end of the year. I just have a few questions.

    1. Anything new/better for the price?

    2. Will i be able to play games like Crysis?

    3. If question above is no, how much will i cost to get me there?

    this makes like..well i forget how many threads that is pretty much the same questions god dam. and that is kinda a low end to almost mid compared to crysis and other newer games coming out./

    so are you comparing the computer to crysis?...

    well i know its kinda low end, im just wandering if ill be able to or not, and if so how much it will cost to get up to the level to play games such as crysis. A simple yes or no answer would work but more info is better.

    i never said it cant play crysis i just said it wont be high maxed out game if ur just want the computer to play the game period then perfect computer for u but if u want maxed avery thing then u need to kick out a little more $

    You probably can play the game on low/med settings getting around 20 fps.

    would i just be needing a more powerful graphics card, a better cpu, or both?

    the video card probably needs to be swapped out for a bit more you could get a radeon x1950pro9or somethings imilar to it) something like this

    processor might be an issue later on and you could always upgrade that later specially since that motherboard is great for overclocking

    Crysis does quite well on dual cores, its mainly just the gpu. Id try to get a x1950 --- or 7900gs and you can run the game on med with decent fps.

    as of now the x1950 wont work because im on a buget and dont have a dvi monitor but if i have some more money im getting the monitor.

    the card comes with DVI->VGA adapters... but if the budgets an issue then...

    well then unless i run into problems with budget ill go with the x1950. The ram is a like $20, is it worth it? I was also wanting to switch out buy a power supply when i buy the system too so idk how much money ill have. can get the can u give me links for newegg because i want to buy everything from one seller

    that crucial is, after rebate, $20 less.

    $40 rebate.


    FYI I'm a rebate whore.
