I don't really like the text of either of them. Your c4ds are nice and you've got the right idea in both of them. In the first one, sharpen up the focal point a bit. I think you're basically trying to use too many different styles in each sig. Keeping it simple isn't a bad thing, and doing too much can usually ruin a sig.
