Ok so I think im doing pretty good with this Photoshop CS3 thing.

I found one tut that really intrigued me

    http://www.dphotojournal.com/photoshop-tut...ating-a-zombie/

So i tried my hand at it.. twice:

    [IMG] original
    [IMG] zombified

SO that was try one... I wasn't really satisfied. For some reason, I couldn't get the same look as him...

    So i tried again

    [IMG] original/zombified [IMG]
I liked this one so much better than the first, but i still couldnt get the same effect as the tut author!

So i tried turning my sister into a demon

    [IMG] original
    [IMG] hellish

although it looks pretty good for a beginner, i still feel its.. missing something

Can someone tell me what is it that im messing up at? is there a tut that can help me? i'd really like to get well at all forms of photoshop mastery =D

I'm not really in to this type of manipulation so I cant really give you any sound advice apart from this site which I visit a lot has a couple of good tuts on this theme LINK

I think this topic should also be moved to the relevant board.

I don't think the work flows really. Its not blending into the face that much, kinda looks like you just copy pasted a skull on a face and tried to blend it in.. My 2 cents.

And yea, I think this should be moved to graphics discussion or something..

    yea thats how i feel

like it looks kinda sloppy. but i wanna fix that, im not too sure how tho

and I did another one of my sister. i think it came out nicely

i messed up a little with the left side of her lips, i did pretty bad at cutting it out from the background, =/

i tried to make her hair, her lip gloss, eyes, and ear rings POP

and i put a lens flare

supposed to be sort of an angelic theme as opposed to the hellish one

i opened her left eye a little. she was kinda squinting through it in her original picture

Thanks for your help and opinions though! anymore would be appreciated, and sorry for posting this on the wrong board. :(

Oh, and also, does anyone know a tut that teaches how to use PhotoShop to create animated Gifs?

I like the first attempt at the skull better than the second, And I think its just that your not blending you stuff in well, it looks like you just pasted a skiull over his faces,

Also, your sister is hot.. and even hotter as a demon =) Jking.
