Althought this is true, I have seen gameplay footage of the game, and what I saw of it, was amazing, and byfar better to me then Halo.
And Godlike multi-player. I for one absolutely hated, HATED, Halo 2's MP. I thought it was overrated and that too many people always played it and made it no fun because of their high-skill ranks. Now, I can't stop playing Halo 3's MP, its just SO much better IMO
I get what your saying but there is a difference between watching and actually playing. The only real way I can explain this is with Gears of War. Watching it seemed so boring to me, but when I played it it was amazing. But who knows maybe it will turn out to have better sales than Halo 3....we'll just have to wait little while longer. (I think it comes out next month?)
omg but who the hell has a pc good enough to play that on high maybe some of you but not me and i play halo for the online play so halo wins to me
I was about to say the same thing about that certain part in his post, not everyone in the world has a great computer let alone know about the game where as Halo3 would win cause of it's acknowledgment.
Bah, Crysis is the superior game IMO I own Halo 3 btw, I have played the beta of Crysis and on full settings it ate my computer and spat it back out...even the might of my 7950s had no chance  I'm going to need to spend quite some moneys to play it the way i want to but i believe it is vastly superiour to halo 3 in ALL aspects, even after being a dedicated halo fan after 2 i decided that the spirit had died and was confirmed after purchasing Halo3 and sitting down to the same boring singleplayer and slightly revamped MP. I hope Crysis gets the recognition it deserves...and isnt to expensive >.<
I recently played Halo 3 at a friend's house for about 4 days straight to test how I felt the game would be. For the most part, I was right. Halo 3 did not add enough to the game to warrant its release, in my opinion. Their campaign mode has never been impressive, but I'll admit the 4 player coop on legendary was fun (of which, from the experience that I had, Halo 3 gets very little credit). Halo 3 added the 4 player coop which is nice, but it was only fun due to my friends and I constantly jacking around. When it comes to multiplayer, I see no difference from Halo - Halo 2 - Halo 3. The movement speed still prevents me from playing this series. However, playing the Crysis Beta I have loved EVERY second of it. When the actual demo comes out that includes some single player content (the first area, I believe) I'm sure it will smoke Halo 3. Even still, only being able to play the one map of multiplayer on Crysis it's still better, in my opinion. Fast paced, high tech, and very beautiful.
why does the platform for which something is out on affect ones opinion of a game? last time I checked, the PC version of BIOSHOCK was just as good if not better than the xbox360 version.
FYI from what I hear even at medium it looks dan good and a $100 card can do medium @ 1680*1050 and high at 720p...
I dont really plan on buying Crysis, My laptop probably couldnt handle it and I dont have the technical know-how to upgrade it. I did however buy halo 3. Despite what people say about bungie leeching the series I quite enjoyed it. The multiplayer online is good fun and I think its overall quite a good game. And the platform that the game is on does affect your opinion of it. If you were playing crysis on a sub par computer it obviously wouldnt be as fun and then you would be discouraged from buying it.
Crysis wins hands down. I don't see why you put this poll up as there's no contest, I like both games but Cyrsis has a new rerreshing gameplay style, storyline and obviously. the graphics are.... i can't describe them, they are real?
halo 3 just because i havent played crysis. Graphic wise Crysis is amazing but halo has amazing gameplay.
