Some Help? Desert Showdown

I have no idea what to do with the text in this one. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

That dark colored bar coming out of the right side of his head........maybe some blended text?

I've never been too fond of text on a grunge style sig though. Maybe just your tag would suffice?

 

Could this be something, or am i way off once again?

 

It's not terrible,
But I would change the font and make it smaller.
I think that would look a lot better.

Beside that,
The tag is freaking hot bro.
Really liking the effects.

The effects are nice in the tag but could use some more depth IMO.
About the text, try to experiment a bit more.

How about clipping mask'ing the text?

Experimentation, but the text got a little overpowering.

 

No....lol. That large text ruins the sig. Here's what you might try. Use a small font, I prefer Asenine. Create your tag, and put it on overlay. Add a drop shadow with the distance and spread both set to 1. Place it somewhere inconspicuous, and rotate it to blend with your background, but it's still noticeable. Might give it a shot......

 

I don't see much depth, and the render is really blended in.

 

Great work....I love the look and the effects...I think it doesn't need text..
