Well first off, never add a text effect with a stroke more than 3 pixels, and never make it red. lol I would suggest checking out the tutorials, they are a great help. And also the resource section for some nice brushing. I see you've already started playing with the filters, start fiddling with the opacity of the layers or set them to something. Just experiment a LOT. Good luck
Try out come tutorials here and there. If you've recently started, checking out tutorials will be your biggest help. Keep experimenting and you'll get something nice. npnp.
Tutorials are just what you need. Firsts aren't always that great. You improve over time then lookback and wonder what your were thinking. Lol.. This one is too blurred and plain + bad text. Try to add some effects. First, start off with basic tutorials. Then move your way up and start getting the feel of it. Next, you should either learn about c4d renders/abstract renders or brushes and how to tame them to look right. After that, read more ----- tutorials and learn more about blending options and how to use the filters/photoshop functions to your advantage. Finally, start reading advanced tutorials and try to expertize yourself. Takes a real long time though, unless your born good.
Yep read up some tuts to improve. The thing that bugs me most about that sig is probably the text....and the plain-ness of the whole BG in general.
Heh understandable definetly, i kinda just thru this together in like 10 minutes... I havent worked much in Ps but i figured it was time to hone some skillz since im working on some projects. Appreciate the advice, and by the way... what is C4D? Once again thanks all who replied... and yea dont worry ive lined up probaly 1000+ tutorials to learn top to bottom of it and even have an expert Ps video i got a from a friend (free 100 dollar tutorial lol) Peace, Blazed Oh and if no one minds, what do you think of my Avatar, current signature.. was messing around in Fireworks and idk i just liked the outcome
