22 Year Old Guy Having Sex With 16 Year Old Girl

In my opinion, it is quite disturbing. But let's look at it from another perspective.....

Would it make a huge difference if she was having sex with someone her own age? Let's say 15-17? Not really in my opinion....

I fully blame the parents if anyone is to blame. She should have been raised better, at least enough to know that pre-marital sex is a huge, and dangerous thing to be dabbling with in today's day & age. Pregnancy, diseases, amongst other things are serious risks.

So it doesn't matter how old the guy is she's having sex with. She should have been taught better....

As far as the older guy she's messing with. We can only hope his cradle robbing butt gets busted. But once again...we can only hope.

 

at age 16 you are irresponsible and dont think of the consecuences of your actions since your parents have been taking care of you for all your life, mayb if she gets preagnant she will start to realize that she has to take care for herself... and i dont agree with him wanting to have sex with her... shes just a kid :S

 

...kids lose their innocence so much younger these days.

I can guarentee 90% of you are children, with no just knowledge of being held in a responsible position, or even having sex yourself, and your putting yourself in the daughters shoes.

1) This is statutory rape, even if both parties agree. It is against the law, and punishable as such.
2) Your body physically, as a female, and even much less as a male, isn't even fully developed at the age of 16, and much less isn't even emotionally capable of accepting what comes after having sex.
3) IMO if you believe your old enough to make adult decisions, leave. Leave your house, leave your family, get a job, move out on your own and support yourself. You can't pick and choose which adult characteristics you want. This is how it will be run in my household. If your old enough to be engaging in adult activities, your obviously going to be considering yourself an adult. Its how I was raised, and how I believe is accurate.

All of you saying, 'if a person can't make the right decision at 16' etc. blah blah blah. You wait until your in your mid / late 20s, and look back at when your 16 and think, 'damn, I was a dumbass back then'. Its the same as you are now, and looking back when you were 8. Yes, a majority of CHILDRENS decisions can be made by the child, and punishable by the parent. The act of engaging in sexual intercourse is an ADULT decision, period. At 16, parents have a right to remove you from their household and remove you from being their responsibility, just as you have the same ability to become emancipated, and move out without your parents input.

There is nothing wrong, necessarily, about engaging in sex at a young age. I personally lost my virginity just before my 14th birthday. I have personally regretted it since. Sex creates bonds between people that lead to emotional stress, and huge things can mess up from it, especially on the more mature side (generally the female at that age). The age in which most people lose their virginity continues to get lower, however the average age of children continues to get higher. This alone shows that more people are interested in recreational sex then what sex truly means. Being at a younger age, of course your going to want it, hormones are raging, girls are horny all the time, its the 'in' thing to do.

Yes, I am 19 (soon), however, I have experienced more in my life than the average adult will have to experience in a life time, including things of this sort, actually, in particular of this sort. Yes, I speak as if I am much older than my age, because that is where my mentality, my maturity, and my intellect reside. Personally, if this was my daughter, she would be forced to have a full time job, forced to pay an equal share of rent, bills, groceries, pay for her own clothes, school things, gas, insurance, etc. or she could leave. Adult decisions revolve around adult consequences (and despite popular belief, consequences are not always bad), and if you expect to be able to engage in adult activity, you will be treated as an adult.

The people who keep saying 16-22 is not a huge difference their parents are blah blah blah, are missing a crucial point, that the younger you are the huger the age difference, 13-16 is A HUGE difference although it's only like 55-52 later on. 16-22 is a very large difference and I'd be upset, then again it's pretty much the girls fault for being stupid.

Pfft, basic human way of learning things is through trial and error. If this girl was told "You cant have sex at that age" then she'd wonna have sex, and i dont think many people are any different... However when its 16-22 then well, ok that her decision but does that mean that when we were 16 none of us drooled over someone older than us in the public eye like Britany Spears (In her good days) or others? Well of course we did, does that mean it was wrong because they were older than us? Of course not. If Eva Longoria gave me a shot id say yes... Its not the law to have to have sex with people the same age as you, just the law not to have sex under a certain age and generally people seem to think that they can dictate what other people can and cant do with their lives.

Tbh, its her life and if she thinks shes making the right choice then as long as its abiding with the law in her country (UK/Aus = 16 Remember) then i dont really mind. Not that she'd even care what we think.
