probably your network connection. To test that out, run the video stress test in counter strike and see what your average fps is

you have a 2.8Ghz what? cordless phone? you can't play games with those.

in full seriousness though take a look at the pinned thread. the one which says * * READ HERE BEFORE ASKING FOR HELP * *

and FYI I'm willing to bet you have a 2.8Ghz Pentium D given your system is a year old(unless you spent $$$ for an athlon FX). for reference those basically suck when it comes to games, though for CSS it would probably be fine in most cases.

basically you need a graphics card. read the pinned threads and then respond.

GFX and/or maybe too many processes running when you play. Press CRTL+ALT+DEL and go to processes, end any you knwo you don't need such as anti virus, ect. When in doubt about ending a process leave it alone.

You probably have intergrated graphics, find out if your motherboard supports AGP, PCI, or PCI-Express.

Please dont post in this thread about things that should be resolved via PM. Its up to you guys to solve the dispute between yourselves. If you want you can post in the problems section...

Please don't try and do the mods/admins job when they are more than capable of doing it themselves.

@roflcopter2, there are many items that you can do to speed things up. IF you can, PM me the model number and manufacturer on your PC, or post it here. That should help out a lot.
