I am on my way to starting my first build, but I am unsure about whether my Motherboard and Case are compatible...The Case is an ATX Midtower, the Mobo is an Intel P35 Chipset, also ATX.

So, would they be compatible? I imagine they would, though maybe the outer ports on the case would just be unused, with the USB Ports and Speaker ports from the mobo working in the back? I'm not positive...

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Also, the motherboard isn't my final choice, not surprisingly the mobo has been the hardest component to decide on....any alternatives you guys recommend I will definitely consider.

ATX mobo, and an ATX case... It'll work.

The mobo comes with an I/O shield, you just pop the I/O shield that came with the case off, and put the one that came with the mobo on. As for ports on the front, there's wires in the case that correspond to ports on the mobo. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong
