The tut is indeed very detailed and straight forward. It doesn't give you the smudge settings but that makes you put more creativity into your tag.

One word - wow.

This tutorial taught me how I could use spectrums and c4d usage at its fullest, even with a sprite sig. I recommend everyone this tutorial; its freakin' awesome.

Beautifully done. The steps are clear and you have everything under control. The outcome is really unique and Buffet has his own style that everyone should learn.
