The first one: 3/5 - The thing is, Kate's voice sounds nearly like a rip-off of Feist. <_<

The second one: 3.75 - Smooth opening, lyrics are decent, voice is nice, something's missing though, I can't put my fingers on what exactly it is hmm...

A bunch for you to enjoy?

    Rock:
The Hives - Tick Tick Boom
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrH9_AfA2-I
It's really really loud stuff that is a breath of fresh air of the Nickelback/Linkin Park infested mainstream rock we have.

    Electronic:
    VNV Nation - Nemesis
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BE9oms3Nas
    They get it.

    Rap:
    Chamillionaire - The Ultimate Victory

3 songs. Good representation of how rap should be. Chamillionaire does not swear ONE time, no stereotypical bullcrap. It's some light for the future of rap to me.

    That's it for now.

Interesting thread! I've been running out of stuff to listen to.

3/5 for the song by The Hives, catchy but I like a different style of rock.

The introduction was really boring of that video, might not be the same on the CD-tracks I guess.

It wasn't really my style of rock, and it was kind of repetitive imo. 2/5
