Politician Sues God To Make A Point Do you think this senator is really getting his point across by suing God or is he making matters worse for himself? I agree with what he is trying to convey as far as people spilling hot coffee on them selves and suing the company; I can't stand people trying to get a easy buck. This goes for the people suing and also the lawyers taking on the case, they are obviously out for the money as well. Your thoughts?
Good on him. Not like the church cannot afford to pay. Also it does show what a horrid state the legals system of this world is in. Justice is a near non existant thing these days. For example a few years back a thief sued and won against a little old lady for 2million dollars because he tripped and fell during his escape from burglering her house. WTF????
The law system nowadays is a complete joke. Personal responsibility is no longer something people take into account when judging a trial. If that was taken into account.... well God damn (no pun intended), we'd have alot less frivolous cases.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen that movie for 7 years, or whenever it was in theaters. I thought that one up, off the top of my head. Not to say that others haven't said that before me.
The senator know's that the suit is dumb and he isn't trying to get money; he's trying to make a point that other suits for trivial things should not go to court. Just as this case should not go to court.
I suppose he's pointing out the lack of human discretion in the justice system to cover for loops holes. Of course human discretion leads to bias.
Is he out of his mind? First of all I didn't even know you could sue god and didn't think their would be anyone stupid enough to do it.
God won't win because he can't show up to the court case because he doesn't exist. TRUFF! lol Seriously though, more people have died in the name of god (not capitalized, this means all religions) unwillingly than have died to any single group of people in the world (even taking all the words dictators, and adding their kill count, you won't come NEAR the numbers god has). In a way, every. single. thing. that could possibly go wrong in this world, can be aimed towards god. As a nation founded on christian beliefs, even its initial set of laws based on christian beliefs, he is an entity in the state of law, and thus capable of being blamed with the proof that if no one else can do it, its obviously his fault.
