Heyy! I was thinking of making a website.. from scratch, essentially. like, designing my own templates and everything for it, and i was wondering if anyone could direct me to some good beginner tutorials for template building and stuff, and maybe some hosting site that is good and free? I'd really rather not use any money on this website,so it'd be great if everything was free! and yeah, i guess i'd have to learn coding to do this right? or maybe some hosting site with tools to help with the coding, btu i can still intsert my own template? something like. a blog iguess? thanks!
For free webhosting I suggest looking here. For HTML coding try here or there's always good-tutorials. Finally, the freeware equivalent of Dreamweaver is nvu, however If you're looking to create a blog I would suggest just going to Wordpress and getting one there.
http://www.codingforums.com/ is an extremely good place if you have problems. CSS and XHTML Coding is what you should be looking into.There use to be an excellent tutorial here at Gamerenders I can't find it anymore.
