What exactly is there to believe in this theory besides the fact that a lot of things might add up to 23? I havn't seen the movie but I think the theory should get as much credibility as those chain letters (the that if you don't send them to 15 people your mother will be killed). You could do the exact same thing with many numbers. Sure, there's lots of big things that in some way add up to 23 which would be nothing more than a coincidence and for most of them the way you get 23 is ridiculous. Stuff like those, you could keep pulling numbers from anywhere like the number of bedrooms in your house or the ammount of times you've moved until you get to 23 Could do that for so many other numbers, just choose another famous person, polotician or whatever It might be fun to try and come up with these but 23 is no more special than 58 or 294.
I lol'd, glad to see there are some intelligent people still around. At the 23 thing, some of those are überretarded.... such as "2 divided by 3 = .666 .". How does that play into anything?
This is a pile of balls. You people come up with random ---- so it makes 23. Lets see... my birthday is the 26th and I was 3 once so 26-3=23 OMG I THINK IM GONNA DIE!!!! You could find random ---- for any number.

If you are searching for one particular number, you are of course going to find it. Except that until you find it, you'll also find a lot of wrong numbers before it. It's a numbers game. Your brain will ignore other numbers, and when you find something with 23 (Out of a lot of numbers) You think: oh my god that number is special! Seriously, is this rational? :S It makes no sence. There is a infinite amount of numbers, and if you look for it, you'll find the smallest everywhere each day. If you didn't find, in 2007 years, a special 23rd day, that would make me more suprised. This wasn't logical, at all. I'm not suprised people fell for it tho.
