There are others who do it as well to scam people. I just used yours as an example because you were the most recent one to do it. I could care less if you kept lowering the BIN or not. The fact remains that it shouldn't be allowed to take place in the auction room, especially once bids have been placed. Go try doing that on eBay after a bid has been placed... you can't. And the reason you can't is for the same reason I'm trying to point out here. Enjoy the -rep for not only being an ass here, but also in your auction thread where I was kindly trying to make a point.

We paid to have this, so it really would be unfair to take it away now..

    *sigh*
You were in my auction trying to be kind? You are indeed an idiot, that wasn't really what I call 'nice'. Anyways, Unluckily enough you were just abit faster giving the neg rep cause I was just writing it. Too bad tho, enjoy the neg rep aswell.

I didn't think that there would be that many people that would be hurt by removing the ability to edit posts without noone noticing. I'll think of some other ways to combat it...

**EDIT** Since it seems that certain children on the site are beginning to get butt hurt over me referencing their threads to be used as an example, I will now comb the forum to find more. Stay tuned...

Can we not have the "this post has been edited.." on all the time in the auction room?
Would make sense if this rule goes anywhere.

You two calm down, CP was just using your thread as an example.

I wasn't pissed about his example, it was his overall behavior towards me, ffs.
I still think it's a stupid idea tho.

If it becomes a problem with people being able to remove the edit remark, I can remove the feature, regardless of if it was a feature you payed for or not.

Well, an editted topic can mean that the person was just editting his post for the current bid.

I don't feel the feature needs to be removed. What I tend to do is quote the first post before I make my bid. That way, I remember what the BIN was, what the bid before me was, and the amount I put into my bid; some of you guys should try it, it works.
Removing the feature in the Auction room will also prevent people from editing their post and retracting bids. Than again, if you impose that rule, you will also have to do so in Offers/Requests as well as Shops/Services. In addition, you will have to remove the Platinum's ability to delete their post... that is quite a bit of features removed from the memberships that will result in mad GR members who paid for their membership.

Maybe you should just take away the feature, if anywhere, at the auction section. But other than that, no, it shouldn't be removed. It's nothing sever that is going to ruin Gamerenders if it's gone, but it's a nice feature to have.

I don't see the problem because you edit the bin, if you want it that bad, buy it emedialty before he can change the bin.

If not, and you just want to bid.. what is the problem of chaning the bin

And plus if the people really wanted it, they would bin it to start with.

No. We can see when people remove their posts. :)
