If you're a gamer, you'll love this one... So i was google'ing "Splinter IMDB" to look up that movie on IMDB, and guess what the number two website was on google? Splinter Cell - 2010 I cannot wait!!! And this Splinter movie, has anyone seen it? It looks good, but if noone liked it i might not bother, but it has an 8.3/10 rating on IMDB (Very very good for IMDB rating).
Cool, a Splinter Cell movie. Seems like they're making quite a few video game movies lately. I don't know anything about the other movie so...
Why do people still get excited over movie adaptations of games? Is the game's original story intriguing enough? What can SC do to movies that hasn't been done before? They're just all cash-ins and they suck.
Amen.. It will be another Doom style movie, I bet, with some well known actor taking the place of Sam Fisher.. Will just spoil it completely IMO.
nope, there making it one huge fmv but longer, and there using the guy who plays fisher in the game to do the voice, and there modeling the face around george clooney, and since the last game come outs this christmas, at the end of it, itll leave many unsolved questions, like what happends to lambert,(if you didnt kill him in DA) and how Fisher gets back at assistant director williams, in my opinion itll be super stupendious
Halo is a movie that I know would suck ass. But Splinter cell's story does make sense in movies though.
very nice (as borat would say), it seems that the new trend is to develop movies based of games. Though I love splinter cell games awaiting conviction, and well I can't wait to see a sneak peak of the movie.
idk man, video-games into movies kinda ties people together, like people who dont play games but see a sickk ass movie and can talk about it with someone who has played the game, and plus it never hurts to see a celebrity trying to pull all those moves climbing and ----...
The movie will not be based on a video game storyline. The screenplay will be an adaptation of on of the splinter cell novelist, Raymond Benson's books. So you are looking at something more like James Bond, Jason Bourne, or Jack Ryan. I am not a huge fan of these games, they bore me after a few missions, but if a good director is chosen it could turn out quite interesting.
