Ok, heres the deal, I installed the new iTunes today, and accidentally after 1st iPod connected, that usual message appeared and I clicked the wrong button, and guess what, my iPod got reseted. So, my question is, can I recover the almost 1,000 musics I lost? Thanks for the help! =D
Well, the fact is that I dont have the musics anymore in my iTunes.... I changed my pc,. and reinstalled iTunes, and I connected my iPod and clicked the wrong button, so it wipped all my musics, my hope is that as iPod is a HD, I ccould recover the files somehow...
If you haven't put anything new on the iPod yet, then the data is still there. Windows sees it as being empty, but the physical data hasn't been deleted. I'm sure a good data recovery program would get the songs back.
Testdisk is the best for recovery lost volumes... bit techy for some (command line) but its by far the fastest and best
If you purchased all your music legally, it's all recoverable via your iTunes account. But hey, who I am kidding, this is the internet
