Making your own personalized 3D character or avatar. These realistic human characters are highly customizable with different body types, skin tones, ages, clothing and accessories, creating a unique personality for each user.

Exploring the 3D community that is Home – a sleek, modern indoor space featuring spacious common areas, retail shops, game lobbies and extensible, customizable personal apartments.

Communicating with others through text, audio and video chat, along with sophisticated emotional animations for each character.

Being assigned an apartment in Home where others can be invited to join you as you show off your own style in an area you can personalize yourself with furniture, art and other items. You can even show your video, pictures and music content stored on your PS3 hard drive.

“Hall of Fame,” where you can display new 3D trophies that will be unlocked through in-game milestones in PS3 games.

Yes thats what i first thought of was sims but its not you are allowed 64 people to a lobby and you access your games through different rooms like you'll go to a racetrack to go on Grad Turimso and it will have a garage with your car saying your PSN Name

IMHO XBL still looks better. Coming from an unbiased point of view, this won't last long, it'll just be there in a few years.

Would help if you read the topic!

Also there will be a HOME icon on the XMB which will you take it, you don't have to use HOME its optional but most people are going to use it!

It will be downloadable off the PSN Store!

Can't wait for this, should be really cool.

Well, IMHO XBL never seems to work, it always messes up or won't connect etc...that may just be me but I've only ever had a problem with the PS3 internet once...and it was my fault anyways.

Still you have to admit that Home will be pretty cool...you CAN argue that it's pointless but it's alot better than just having a screen that says your friends are online.

I don't think so...you may just have to bite the bullet and buy a wireless router...they arn't too terribly expensive, then you can use wireless around your house for other things, so it's a nice investment.

i made a PS3-Home thread earlier a couple months back and people was talking about how this was gonna flop and how XBL is better, but seriously...you think XBL can come with something like this? This is free, which will make users use it, and its to make all PS3 users gather together to make a community

a GR PS3 Home group would be a good idea lol.

idk what XBL has to offer its community cos i dont own a 360 so.. but home is sounding very good and it'll bring people together alot more.
