I've heard numerous people mention the ddc-2 as 30-40% better than the d5s. Google is shooting blanks on this one, so if someone knows something I obviously don't feel free to inform me.
I'm having a tough time finding anything informative on Google about the x38 chipset... So far I've read that a lot of i680 boards are getting shipped doa. Xlink, I currently have a 7900GT and I'm looking at getting a 8800GTS. Will I even see performance increase on the x38?
humm not entirely sure. i know x38 supposedly has support for PCI-e 2.0, rumored SLi support and some other stuff. If you opt for 680 though it's still not bad. nVidia DOES have better southbrides
in terms of flow rate yes, but as far as head pressure goes it's inferior. all in all they are comaprable. The DDC2 is hard to find though and basically it's the 3rd version only now that beign harder to find. Also you need to top to be modded. if you're doing a series then i'll be blunt you're going to get enough flow AND head such that it doesn't matter.
