i have a linkys wireless router...i set the wep security key and everyday it resets its self back to deafult settings.anyway to fix this...also my connection drops from time to time to.
is it possible that you havent saved the wep security key, so you have to enter it again when you connection starts? the problem that your connection drops is probaly your networkdevice that doesnt receive the signals very well, or that your router resets from time to time
yea..i do save it..it just resets it self..its werid..and im gettin excellent connection strength..so i dunnoo...
you can usual create profiles with wireless connection software in the profile it stores the ssid and any encrpytion you put in
yea..but i have my wireless network named..and basically when it resets it all..it goes back 2 the default linksys name and no wep encryption.
