Hello everyone, as I hope your all aware this is the 6th aniversary of the terroists attacks of 9/11. I know I shouldn't really be the one posting this as i'm a brit but I feel someone should. I earlier youtubed 911 and watched many tribute videos. We didn't have our minutes silence we usually do in my college which we've done for the past 5 years.

    Post your thoughts here.

It's a really sensitive topic for some, and sometimes should be kept quiet.

To be honest I wasn't affected by it more then I will never see the towers in person, but I keep a silent respect for those that did loose someone in there.

It was 6 years ago, people only make a huge deal out of it because America was the target, if it has been a third world country no one would have cared, especially not 6 years after the fact... thats my opinion and look on the subject. Its unfortunate people died, but honestly now... weeping for 6 years isn't doing anything but causing yourself and your family and friends harm.

I really did not know what to say, so I made it short and simple.

Its the fact that every. single. year. more memorial videos are posted, every forum has topics like this made, etc. I mean get over it, more people die in a day in the US from natural causes than died in the trade towers. We didn't hear stuff about this like with the Tsunami over to the east, or stuff like New Orleans, or even really old things like D-Day and when that happened, etc. People need to stop making such a hype of it and move on. Its unfortunate, people died, people die everywhere. People have suicide and terrorist bombing DAILY which kill substantially high amount of people. As I said, the only reason why anyone even bothers to remember or care about this event is because it occured in the US, and its effects are still around due to people not letting it die.

You dont live in new york though... or did you 6 years ago?
