Should I Use My Cell Phone As A Modem?

    Some people might not know this but if you plug your phone into your computer it will recognize it as a modem. The best part is all you have to buy is the cable, there is no fee for using the internet, you only use up your minutes.

    Has anyone done it, is it worth it?

    well if you only get like 1000 minutes a month then meh...not much time on line..unless ur going online after 9 or w/e

    Ill only use it when Im not at home. But sometimes im in the car and i need to use it.

    If it works for you and you really need to use your laptop alot and you're always out on the road then it might be good to use your phone as a modem.
    Just watch your minutes lol

    I've forund it's slow and it eats your minutes and batteries. I'd sooner have a few miles of ethernet going from yuor house :P
