It depends how much days a month have.
A new Photography competition starts the 1st of a month, in this case September the 1st.
And it ends 3 days before a new month starts, that way staff has 3 days to vote.
When a month has 31 days, the competition will end the 29th which also gives staff 3 days to vote.

Like JL Dusk said, that was just to start it. We can't give Platinum Memberships away the entire time

Yes, it takes a full month.

 

Not in the way you're thinking.
If anything is adjusted more than 4.5%, I don't consider it a valid photo anymore.
(So you can, in my book, only adjust up to 4 in any direction on color balance)

 

In reference to manipulation, is red eye removal etc. allowed?

 

I'd say yes with red eye removal, but can't say yes at "etc." though...

 

How about if you wanted to sharpen your photos? Like applying the High Pass Filter? Is that allowed?

 

what i mean is more correction rather than manipulation... red eye was just an example, sorry for not being clear

 

Do whatever you want, but the more you do, the higher the chance is someone on staff thinks it's a manip and you're disqualified.
