That's a shame . My grandfather played the accordion for him on multiple occasions, so I heard about it pretty much right after it happened from him.
A shame indeed, he had one of the best voices i've ever heard and he had music for every mood. Most people I know don't like his kind of music, but I loved it (and still do) on occasion. Not really unfair though, as terror said. Firstly he was 71, which is a pretty good age for someone who is fatter than most italians are tall. Did you know his personal butcher always trabeled with him? Besides this, great respect for this honourable singer. A truly great voice and a beautiful personality. Riposi in pace
Never heard nothing from him. But I still know who he was and that he was great. He probably passed the message well, or else he wouldn't be as famous. So RIP. And frontmill's reply was a great read.
he was the greatest tenor ever by a mile and its so sad that hes died R.I.P. pavarotti you were the best opera singer ever.
