I know many people here and at many places try to hide their email adresses by posting soandso [at] yahoo [dot] com, but that is actually the worst way to do it. check out this video by Jimmy R that he made explaining it, and tells you the best way to hide your e-mail.

    ^ Lol.

Well, instead of hiding your email, having a mule email account comes in very handy. I have an account spammed up with messages and offers, but only because I use that for websites.

I use a domain i have only for email addresses, i set it to catch-all and then forward them to my main email, then when I sign up for sites I will use "[email protected]" or "[email protected]" and i can filter out which services send me spam.

I've tried the opt out link to mitigate spam for one of my mule accounts but that didn't' help at all.

Wow that video was so interesting. Learned from it. I have the same e-mail for a while like 5 years already. I started getting some emails. I saw the opt out thing clicked it and got spammed more. I still get some spam but not as much as before. I wish there was a way to stop them from sending it to me. I use my ISPs Email Server thing xD. I have other email accounts like Gmail and Hotmail I usually use them to sign up for stuff. Thanks for the video though very helpful

Lol my gmail has like 50 spam mails in the Spam folder every week. I've grown so used to them that I don't even bother about them anymore. :)
