Sum 41 is trash and Three Days Grace is even worse trash. Live with it.

Judging by those two bands in that post...I don't even think I want to try their album out, especially with already a second opinion calling them generic.

I'm actually gonna change my decision: either Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet or Neurosis - Given to the Rising.

    hmm

    Arctic Monkeys - FWN
Kate Nash - made of bricks
Klaxons - myths of the near future

Few of my faves this year so far

    Merged Post:

I quote blahablaheek when I say this

    "Meh why?
Darkest Hour I won't say anything about, but BTBAM is one of the best Prog metal bands to come out in years. They mix death metal, power metal, metalcore and some weird ass synth and interludes to create the freshest music this side of HORSE."

I don't think you can call death metal, power metal, metalcored and some 'weird ass synth and interludes' the FRESHEST music this side of horse.... can you? :\

I was over-exaggerating, but there's no metalcore in BTBAM.

I love you for that. That reminds me, I'm going to go get that album now. I have one song from it, it's near perfection there. :D

I hadn't heard much from them before but I got that CD - almost flawless, definitely need to check out their old stuff.
