Evening all some help is needed Right i'll get straight to the point. I'm on the theives guild quest where you pay a 'master forger' to 'forge' the letter, he then replies, something on the lines ' come back and see me in a day' I come back repeatidly for days on end but he still wont give it to me. His reply is always the same 'I havn't done it yet! so why are you bothering me!' Any help will be greatly appriciated, thanks Liam/Headphones x
DUde.... I'm not idiotic I know wait but yeah I do wait untill the next day that didn't work. I then literally ran around for 24 hours(the game time) and nothing.....
try doing a different quest and then check back make sure that you fully read the forger quest too, you might need more money or you're missing some info worst case possibility, it's the disk and you can't complete the thieves guild. This happened to me and the Dark Brotherhood, hope it doesn't happen to you because it really sucks.
i know, well I think it has happend, I did some mages guild quests, came back and nothing. I'm so screwed
Don't you need like 500 gold for that quest? I don't know when you pay or anything though. When I did that quest it took longer than as day, so I went off to do other things for awhile. I guess check if you have the gold?
It took me a while too.. I just came back during the day sometime and it worked out, try going to gamefaqs and see if there is a guide that says something about it.
i never really had a problem with that, just didnt have enough money at the time. It took me a little time to tget the money and i just got it. You have to wait untill he's in his house at least..thats all i can remeber. Soz.
