    heres my build

case - Cooler Master Ammo 533

Powersupply - Aspire 600W DarkSide Alum Black PSU

    CPU - intel core 2 duo E6850

    mobo - MSI P6N Diamond nForce 680i Socket 775

    ram - kingston 800Mhz (4x1gig)

Graphix - EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB PCIe w/Dual DVI

    dvd combo - LITE-ON 20X LH-20A1P DVDRW w/ 12X DVD-RAM Black

got 2 Vantec Stealth 120*25mm Double Ball Bearing

i got that thing build but my major problem is that the restarts are funny. i hit the reset on the case (yes it does) and it resets but it doesn't come close to hitting the windows load screen (i have XP ---) it just does a giant loop. it loads a screen with some hardware details but never gets to the load screen. i physically got to turn it off to restart the pc then it goes all through. it freezes on ocassion too

when i got it i put on afew progs then restarted. it said in red lettering that my overclocking failed, but i never overclocked it ::(

    anyone got any suggestions ?

    my guesses are

    bad windows install
mediocre voltage regulation on the PSU

It being brand new is not the problem. The problem is that it is poor quality. Aspire is known for having midrange products.

a higher quality 450+W psu would probably beat the Aspire one you have now. Wattage isnt the only thing that matters

Update: i tried a restart and it went through without a hitch. i'm going to watch it for afew days and see if it continues.

thnx for the advise on the PSU, but i heard it could be the memory i got. but i'll keep watch on this. :) the build is still new so i may change things out sometime.
