I'm pretty sure my mobo Ethernet port is messed up because thats the only thing I can think of causing the problem...

Every time I download a large file such as a trial for anything, I get a corrupt error. This doesn't happen with small programs such as winzip. I tried downloading the files many times over again and have the same issue. I have these problems with my desktop which is on a router but when I use my laptop hooked up with either the ethernet or wireless it works fine.

Ex... I tried installing WoW on my desktop and it said the cab file was corrupt but when I downloaded it with my laptop it worked fine with installing so I just took the installed files from programs and dropped the folder to my desktop and it worked fine until I had to install updates, so I updated the files on my laptop and sent them in the same folder on my desktop and then I could play WoW.

run a scan on it to see if there are any viruses or errors on your desktop

I have done that before but nothing happened.

I guess maybe its a possibility that my disk could be messed up
