Recently my comp has been going through some trouble and I have been thinking about it for a while now and have finally made the descision to purchase a labtop but I have no idea what to get. I need somthing that has a lot of memory and that can take Cs2,AIM,MSN and music files at once. Suggestions and links would be apreciated.

Are you going to be gaming or anything like that? Also how much are you willing to spend?

for what you named my old 512 MB RAM piece of crap would be perfect lol

but really, if that's all you're goin to be doing then you can probably get something from Wal-Mart (and no that's not a joke).............if you're going to be using C4D or gaming then try something from HP or Dell and customize it to your specs

If you mainly want CS2, AIM, MSN, and such and won't be doing major gaming, then - as awful as it sounds - consider a Macbook or Macbook ---. Pricey tag, but they have good creative stuff, handle your standard education software (e.g. Microsoft Works) and handle all that you want with good performance.
