My laptop powers off for no reason after about 10 or 15 minutes of use, it is not hot at all. Can anyone reccomend anything? I've already tried to use the recovery CDs and it still messes up. Thanks

Does windows shutdown? Or is it just like the battery is suddenly empty?

Like the computer just goes black screen and has kinda a swoooosh sound. And then I can just press the power button again to turn it back on for like 15 mins til it does it again.

Is it a certain application it happens with?

Or did you install any new hardware lately?

Can you go to hardware overview? I'm not sure what it is called in english, most likely something like device manager. Please go there and check on errors. (a yellow sign with a black !)
