How do you do a right click command without actually right clicking. My school gave me a laptop and you can't even right click in it. You can't use the run command, right click, install programs, have music on it, change your background, play games, look at porn...

So, as you can see, the laptop isn't that much fun. If you know an alternative way to right click so I can just do a little bit of fun with it could somebody please tell me? If there is a way to open "run" also I would like it. I tried windows key and "r" but that didn't work.

Right click on the keyboard is Shift+F10

    Hope that helps

As for the Run command, if you hold the Windows key and press R, it should open. It does on my computer.

    open notepad

    type in "command.com" no quotes

the save it as "anything.bat" with quotes(anything being anything you want)

then open the fiel and it should get you a command prompt, have fun generating havok.

also in a web browser right click and image and set it as the back ground, or else open the image in paint and do it from there

WHy do you need to right click, also to run programs just rename the file to something that is already installed on the computer. So you can rum limewire if you re-name it to notepad. The internet block is only in the school connection so it should not be a problem if you can take these home.

Last but not least my favorite way to bypass everything, is to remove the HD, have a USB drive with a gig of space, put portable linux on it. Turn on your computer with the usb plugged in and you will run linux. From linux you are free from everything. This is the only way we could do stuff in our school. We all got laptops with dee-freeze and anti-exe and the only way to bypass was to run linux, delete program files, and then go back to windows without any restrictions. Good Luck.

I do not take responsibility in you getting in trouble. This is for knowing purposes only.

do you log into the schools netword, or do you just have the laptop for word processing? You could try using the admin account on windows, providing they didnt password it

They make you log into it, I'll try the one about the notepad. As for the linux option, why not just make a linux bootable CD and put it in the disk?

EDIT - the command.com didn't work. said the software policy restricts it and to open event viewer or contact admin. and IDK the admin password.... BUT I do know there is a username called administrator

if the command prompt thing didn't work make sure that when you save the file you save it using the "all files" option in the "save as type" list.

the great thing about usb drives is you can store programs on them and run them like that. at my school we put firefox on the usb drives and the websites and the filter didn't block all of the sites it used to.

another tip is if you put https:// in front of the websites it might get past the filters, it works at my school.

worst comes to the worst, you could either do a clean install of winxp or a distro of linux.

I got it so the command prompt comes up for 1 second and goes away using www.command.com and that does that at my house too.
