That's what I mean, people grow up, have a wife, kids, nice house.

Alot of people want to be Average, and theres nothing wrong with that...

meh, as long as i can contribute to mankind as a hole (not ------). i know it sounds cheesy, but it's true. so as long as i can achieve that, i'll be just fine. and complete the circle of life of course.

plus, in my religion, life on earth is temporary. so is fame and fortune

why does everyone bring religion into every single topic.

It was brought up against global warming because god will come down to save us before global warming happens.

It was brought up to support war because they follow a different religion

It was brought up in poker because God is against gambling

It was brought up in everything pretty much.

Just leave religion out of day to day things. Nothing against you Arcane_Paladin, I don't mind what you said at all, but it's just that religion is brought up in everyone's day to day routine, and people bring it up randomly when not even necessary, or wanted.

i dont normally bring it up, but it's just a big part of my life. im not religious myself. borderline. but whether you are or aren't, i think point still stands that fame and fortune is temporary. yes, it'll still be there once you've passed, but you wont be able to enjoy it

How is there nothing wrong with that?

Nobody should want to be average. There isn't anything wrong with accepting that you're average, but wanting to be average?

Sure, thats understandable, but bringing it into every topic? That's not necessary.

Also, it wasn't an attempt to bash religion at all, it's what some people truly believe.

Maybe you didnt go to school but there is quite a few people from ages back that we still remember...

People put religion into every topic because thats the only thing they believe, no reason for us to be on earth if we are going to die and respawn anyways. Enough with the religion though its going to turn into a religion rant fest.
