To me, to be honest, halo 2 feels like an expansion pack with some graphical and gameplay upgrades. I recommend Halo 1 first if you've never played it. Halo 2 is something you play when you understand the story. Like I stated it's like an expansion. I liked them both to be frank. So, pardner, get Halo 1 first and consider Halo 2 if you liked it. None of the gameplay or graphics meet up with todays standards but try it out.
