Has anyone played the skate demo? I've been playing it for a day or two now. What are your thoughts on the flick-it controls? I think it's pretty cool. If you have no idea what I'm talking about here's the trailer: Skate Trailer
wehre did u get the demo? and ive always waned a more realistic game cuz i think tony hawk too fake and yay its soon here!! lol
It was fun to play I kinda like the flick-it controls but I kept thinking of the Tony Hawk games soo I kept messing up lol but it's a pretty fun game ^_^
I got it in the Xbox Live Marketplace. And that's why I really like Skate, because tony hawk has gotten too fake. It'll be in September 12 Another cool feature is the ability to upload a video replay or photo to the skate.REEL. So if you do something insane you can upload But you have to have an account on EA that's linked to your gamertag.
the world looks way too big in the full version, a developer said it takes 10 minutes to go from top to bottom, if you know the fastest route. but it looks pretty kewl gameplay wise
if that's how the grinds sound i think i'll play with the SFX levels all the way down. they're not quite right, they sound too much like nails on a chalkboard. can't stand that. but anyway yeah i think i'll go download that now.
10 minutes seems like a long time but when you're playing it feels like nothing I bet lol. You'll probably be able to fast travel, like teleport to locations. And, don't forget, it's 10 minutes of a city filled with stuff to skate on.
Best skate vid to date! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOVpt-fyYSc
Me too and I feel about TH games, they're worn out and boring, gimme some skate
No.
Demo's pretty tight. I love the Flick-it. I was really tired of the buttons after 8 tony hawk games. I also dig the skate.reel. All that I want there is the ability to connect saved clips and make a whole video with music in it.
