monday - 8:00 am - 9:25 am Econ 180 macroeconomics 9:35 am - 12:10 pm Computer science 111(MS apps + visual basic) 7:20 pm - 9:55 pm Math 180 Calculus wednessday 8:00 am - 9:25 am Econ 180 macroeconomics 9:35 am - 12:10 pm Computer science 111(MS apps + visual basic) 7:20 pm - 9:55 pm Math 180 Calculus plus 2 hours of self scheduled weight lifting a week. very easy schedule for me. Econ should be a joke since I took AP microeconomics in highschool(which is generally harder) and passed the AP with a 4 despite the teacher teaching nothing. Computer science sounds like a joke, just a lot of excell and VB. Calc... well it's the 3rd time taking ti for me, took it my junior year of highschool at the local community college and dropped it. Took it again in high school alst year. Slacked off a TON got two Cs(I had the lowest homework average in the class and didn't really try very hard, senioritis) got a 3 on the AP so I'm taking it over just to be on the safe side. so basically I'm expecting straight As. and yeh marforce have fun with your 15-20units of ----... sounds like fun.. avoiding ---- like that is the reason why i take classes all year round, I average the same number of units a year but only take around 60% of the course load during the main semesters.
This is just for my first semester of my senior year. Periods 1-2: Physics of Engineering (POE) Period 3 and 5: Multimedia Production (e.g. graphic design, A/V, etc.) Period 4: Math IV Next semester... Periods 1-2: POE Periods 3 and 5: Art Period 4: Humanities (e.g. English, literature, and history) EDIT: I read some of the college ones. God, I cannot imagine college for me... I know I am double-majoring in International Affairs in the fields of 'Global Economics' and 'Security and Defense'. What sucks is the school I am interested in has a language cap for getting in; third year proficiency in a foreign language! I might just do Spanish to pass off easy, but what I'd give to study Slavic/Russian for a career choice (interested in working in arms trade politics).
senior year for me too just reg school days year 1. weight training III 2. economics of US 3. Business Math 4. Computer assisted drafting 3D 5. Foods 6. English IV 7. Specific PE, football
For those interested I'm in the pharmacy program at the university of Manitoba, I believe it's an extended course load as it's 37 Credit hours VS the regular 30Cr/Hrs. As to getting in it was 75% GPA and 25% on an essay, the essay's topic was ridiculous and really had no relevance to anything. The GPA was based upon my first year of university where I was at 4.1 on a 4.5 scale. Last I checked they take in 50 people per year and around 600 apply, not sure on this years stats though. As to what most of it is: The chemistry doesn't bother me, Organic is mainly memorizing structures and naming stuff. Biochem should metabolism and how various compounds interact with the body. Microbio is going to be rather annoying, as I find it difficult to really care about various bacteria, viruses.. etc. Anatomy is rather obvious. Medical Physiology sounds cool, I'm not exactly sure what it entails but it seems to be the function of various organs/systems and their reactions to various disorders. Intro to Pharm... learning about professionalism... yay Fundamentals of Pharmaceutics = what's in medications and how they work. Applied Path.. whatever this "A comprehensive theoretical foundation of the phenomena that produce alterations in human physiology function across the lifespan." means... Structured Practical Experiential Program 1 - volunteering in hospitals... may be cool, otherwise I'm just providing slave labour. As far as my Day to Day schedule Monday 8:30-9:50 - Pharm 1000 11:30-1220 - Chem 2210 12:30-120 - MBio 2100 230-530 - Anat Tuesday 830-1130 - Chem 2210 Lab 1130- 1245 - Chem 2360 230-500 - PHGY 1030 Wednesday 830-1130- Chem 2360 Lab 11:30-1220 - Chem 2210 12:30-120 - MBio 2100 200-430 - PHRM 1100 Thursday 830-1130 Mbio 2100 Lab 1130- 1245 - Chem 2360 230-500 - PHGY 1030 Friday OMG no class at 830! 11:30-1220 - Chem 2210 12:30-120 - MBio 2100 200-430 - PHRM 1100
