When I was 10 I discovered online gaming, in the form of Soldier of Fortune 2. I then moved onto play Joint Operations. But when I started playing Counter-Strike, I discovered a whole new level to online gaming. Since then I've added a few more great games to my collection including: Call of Duty, Battlefield 2 and Guild Wars. These games define what online gaming is to me. But with a host of promising games set for release in the near future, which one do you think will make the biggest impact on the online gaming industry? Call of Duty 4 has introduced 'perks' to its multi-player mode which hopes to make the game more fun and competitive at the same time. Also, with Microsoft Live coming to PCs. Its a possibility that Xbox 360 players could play against PC gamers. Unreal Tournament III boasts a new engine which promises to take graphics, game play, challenge and ultimately fun to a whole new level. With more game mods and a new AI system this is set to be a hit. This also boasts multi-format release. Halo 3, a hugely anticipated shooter for the Xbox 360, is looking great so far. The power of the Xbox 360 has allowed Bungie Software to take the game to a whole new level. With an already large fan base, Halo 3 tempts gamers with new weapons and vehicles and is sure to be a big hit. Team Fortress 2 has been given positive feedback from the gaming community, and fans from the previous game (Team Fortress Classic), are looking forward to this. The trailers have also attracted gamers like myself, who never played the first game. Whilst not being as popular as the other games, it will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 as part of Half-Life 2: The Orange Box. Crysis, made by CryTek, the same people who made Far Cry, is another dazzling game set in the jungle. But it supports DirectX10, which should blast any other games out of the water in terms of graphics. Not really a top pick for a great multi-player but players who prefer graphics over gameplay are going to love it. What do you think will be the next big multi-player?
BioShock (I think it has multi-player or maybe I'm wrong) World In Conflict Only two I can think of atm.
World of Warcraft will own the multiplayer scene fover ever. And ever. But problably CoD 4 gonna make it pretty good to
Nah thats just for the fan boys\ and people who like Halo 3. <div align="right"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div> [/b][/quote] its broke sales records and its not even out. And that is a given you idiot
I think Gears of War will always be popular they made it always be fun I think I have played over 1000 ranked matches and I still think its as fun as when I played the first time.

I don't go all ballistic over games, I didn't know it "broke sales records". E:/ Now looking at your reputations, look like you have A LOT of growing up to do.

Uh no, I don't think you understand what I said. I said that most players who like the franchise of Halo 3 will play it, and those who own a Xbox 360. Or just Fan boys. Don't call me an idiot cause you can't understand things, ya douche.
