Its a virus that is doing it to your pc. You can reformat or live with it.

Yeah probably a virus scan it in safe mode(should be F8 before you finish starting up) Use more then 1 program, like avast avg etc Norton sucks for anti-anything so don't use them.... If it doesn't find anything report back with a bit more detailed information on the problem other then it restarts all the time.

posta above are correct put in safe mode be restarting then press DEL or F8 and runn ur virus software leave to complete and dlete all the viruses found after that restart and it should work if that is not it it may be the power pack just try cleaning all the dust out it gets alot of that and try again if not try another one there faily easy to install

I had that and when i logged on to my account i had like 5 minutes before it restarted, after a week I was sick of it and the only thing I could do was a clean install from windows... :(

    run this
    http://sp2004.fre3.com/beta/beta2.htm

if your system crashes immediately it's a ahrdware problem(potentially overheating too)

if it keeps on going strong for liek forever, then it's software just reinstall.
I'd be happy to help you 1-1 but my computer time will be sketchy for a while

it makes your system systematically calculate prime numbers.

basically it's a stability test. if it runs seemingly forever yoursystem is stable.

if it crashes immediately chances are you have some sort of a hardware issue.

Actually, the computer constantly restarting may be a sign that the computer is "dead". It happened to me, I couldn't even get through a Virus Scan because it restarted, so we needed a new computer...
