I was actually trying to download the free trial and I have problems. It said I need Vista in order to install. I don't really think its worth it. I am pretty sure it only has a couple of new tools that we will never use.

I have it, and it seems to be faster than CS2. I think it's worth it.

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">if it runs funny on Vista it's probably because of Vista itself, not CS3........NOTHING ran right for me on Vista lol

btw...you can switch between the old and new layouts</span>

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">exactly....they took CS2 and improved on it. that's the whole point in releasing a newer, BETTER version

CS3 is better than CS2 just like CS2 is better than CS.......new versions are usually better...simple as that</span>

i think the main thing is illustrator, and some nicer filters

personally, i've seeen both, if you're gone spend an extra 400 dollars or whatever and u already have cs2 its definitely not worth it

This is showing the new features of CS3 (CS3 Extended has all these and more):
    <a href=\'http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshop/features/\' target=\'_blank\'>http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshop/features/</a>

This is comparing the NEW features of CS3 and CS3 Extended (the entire list is new features that CS2 doesn't have):
    <a href=\'http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/compare/\' target=\'_blank\'>http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/compare/</a>

btw...If price isn't an issue then just get CS3 Extended. You already know it's the best version of Photoshop so why not? CS3 is faster, has a better layout (to me), and gives you more stuff to play around with.

I used CS2 for years so I can tell you first hand how good it is but I can also tell how much better CS3 and CS3 Extended are.

    CS2<CS3<CS3 Extended..........nuff said
