Hi, welcome to reality. My name is Nasuul and i will be your guide. You grow up being bombarded with nonsense. Act this way and you will gain the respect of your peers. Finish school and graduate and you will gain a respectable job. Etc..Etc..blah blah ------ing blah. You know the problem? We are all so ------ing faceless. And you know what it takes to become a face? Not high QCS scores, or aced test papers. Nor even working hard at your job for years upon years with no complaint. If you want to see the world notice you, the price is steep. You pay in blood and your soul. Take the world by the short dark and curlys and pull. Break the world around you down, and push yourself on others. Then you will be noticed. The people that will be remembered from this era will not be the people keeping the world going quietly. It will be the people who decide the dont like the world any more and decide to rape it into submission. I am talking the terroists, mass murderers, the dictators, and tyrants. Those people are the ones who will be remembered. So are you willing to pay the price to be ranked in this small club of remembered people? Or would you rather to continue living your dream? Your choice...
Why would it matter if you're remembered by the world? It's not like we live life expecting to be remembered by society.
To me, if I can't succeed at the highest level, why live? So I'm not necessarily saying I am willing to put my life on the line, but many of the greatest people have, if not for wealth and riches, but ideals they can put themselves behind. My biggest fear is being average. This stems from the fact that American culture beats the idea of greatness into the skull of everyone. What they fail to realize is that not everyone is exceptional. Yet the argument can be made that leading a mundane life (bringing kids into the world, raising them to be successful) is in itself greatness, just not in the sense that one might expect. Perhaps as you grow older and wiser these things become clearer. Oh, I don't know... I'm just ranting a little.
IMO your fed alot of B.S over the years, it dosn't matter how much you do eventualy people will forget, go ahead name me the guy the preposed the building of the stone henge? dosn't metter how hard you try, nothing lasts forever.
Pretty much everyone around me has told me about people they knew in highschool that were the "nerds" and how they are millionairs now. I dont necessarily believe if you drink and party in school you will be poor, though usually it is harder for those people getting back on top. It all depends on how money is managed. People such as my stepdad that buys a new hd tv and a second car which cant pay for the first one nor the cell phone bill, will always be poor unless money management is changed. Im only 16 but I know the value of money. People say money isnt everything but it is a lot. Yes, it can make people depressed or bored even if they have a lot of money.
Very interesting topic. Why do we want not to be Average Joe? We want to stand out, we want to be better than our nextdoor neighbour, we want the high-life and if you're lucky and work hard enough, yes, you'll get that dream job, car, house. But are you happy? Money drives people crazy....

You're looking far too deep into the issue. You seem like an intelligent person: you ought to be able to tell that it's bulls**t. However, what kind of inspirational message is this: 'You're going to grow up, graduate high school with a 2.8 GPA, go to a state university because you weren't competitive enough for the one you actually wanted to go to. You will barely graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts because you weren't sure what to pick and you weren't very good with the mechanical aspect of life and you didn't put forth a lot of effort because the frat parties were more important. You'll end up in a mediocre desk job at Best Buy, working night shift with the Geek Squad (technical support, if you haven't seen the commercials), 3PM - closing, for a meager $7.50 an hour. You are likely to become overweight by age thirty, both by statistics and your lifestyle. You will not marry somebody that has tits like Pamela Anderson and f**ks like a porn star. You will struggle paying the bills. Statistically, you are very likely to get a divorce. Your parents have already depleted their social security funds and are currently living off of the money you are putting into it. You will not receive the same benefits, or anything comparable because social security is a no-no in Congress. You will be forced to work well past the age your parents retired at because of this. You will die. Very few people will remember you.' How do you tell that to a bunch of fourth graders? What's important is succeeding to the best of your ability. That may make you a Bill Gates, or that may make you the local manager at Wal-Mart. Life depends entirely on what you put into it.
What if we do want to just be average? I don't really see a problem in that. I just want to live life in a normal manner and be able to be able to live comfortably and just not live paycheck to paycheck. Aside from that I could really care less if I'm recognized by people.
wow... thats good.. and deep if you understand it. cause thats how most people live through out there lives.. nice man
