The thing is mate, everyone has done it before. That one time when you have likely seen some huge guy with a certain look on his face, or heard some woman shouting at her kids in a certain way at the supermarket.. Chances are you have made some sort of judgement on it, and thought something which could only be described as a stereotypical thought. Everyone has done it before, and denying it is futile.

That's different, that's just a look, not a fashion sense.

And @ sacrifice, just lol. Seriously.

"An exaggerated image of the characteristics of a particular group." (as quoted from Google). Judging someone based on how they are in any way, shape or form is considered to be stereotyping.

I once had a friend that was emo. I stopped being his friend after that.

Emo kids though are spoiled ass brats just looking for attention. They're too ----- to be a wigger and too white, so they decide to act like a whiny bitch instead.

Where's Fall out Boy? AFI? No? They aren't emo. Emo is more like hardcore punk than those gay pop-punks bands.

Emo was good in the 80s, not today. Fugazi kicks ass. But I think Jimmy Eat World was the last decent emo band around. Yeah, I can say, to me, that the barrier between the best emo and the beginning of the ---- and stereotyping began around the time Jimmy Eat World came to be.

What I hate the most about emo, and every other stupid stereotype, is that they say they're "different" by being it.

Sorry, you're not different if you're the same as THOUSANDS if not MILLIONS of other kids.

And the other slightly less hate about emo and other stereotypes is that they whine and complain about not being the stereotype, why not change a bit to garner some respect from your peers? Not change to the point where you're changing to appeal to everyone else, but just that LITTLE BIT to stop some stereotypes, and become stronger in your OWN self, not strong in the stereotype.

    ...yeah.

Jimmy Eat World was sort of ditching their emo sound when they got popular. But I don't like indie, I like post-hardcore

Story of The Year only had their few hits - those are singles - their other songs are more intense.

    Also, the Used isn't emo.
