    OOOhhh fun, a flame forum.

Anyone here a moderator at other forums and happen to get peeved at certain things?

    I am and I do.

And now it's a moderator's turn to flame about all the stupid annoying ignorant rule breakers.

When I warn someone and type out a message to them about why then a week later they go do the EXACT same thing. And I have to warn them again.

It really gets on my nerves, happens especially with double posting. -.-

I don't like to swear around forums so I will do this to vent out my anger....

    SGFJDFGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRFKSADLASKD

And I think it's so totally annoying when someone argues with your decision and threatens to complain about you to admin and actually uses the Report button to complain about you, that was a first. lol, when they have no complaint.
Then they start bitching about you to all your good friends over IM. It's darn right stupid... A new member with approx. 28 posts would have more loyalty amongst other members then a moderator who has been a member for over a year.
HOW STUPID CAN YOU FRICKIN GET.

Then there are the threats 'Im GONNA HACK U!' LOLZ, when t here definition of hacking is to type in random passwords, What they don't realize is that my login name is different to display name... No one really knows what the login name is unless they can put 2 and 2 together and have been at the forums for a few months. XPP Then there is my password... they frickin deserve the account if they can guess my password. It's just the most unguessable thing ever. Then there are IP addresses so if they are thinking of hacking the account and making spam threads to frame me... HELLO... different IP's ...

Gosh I needed that... I mean the first thing I do at a new forum is look for the rules... Why can't they all do the frickin same.

Oh yeh the suck ups... They bug me like hell. The ones who are overly kind to all the staff and won't say the slightest thing against them (even if it's rating art in a contest) and they think you really don't realize that them saying 'OH yr da uber bestest mod there is.' really doesn't mean anything.

<_< Then a couple of the other staff who actually pander to the suck ups... THAT ANNOYS ME WORSE OF ALL.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Alot of held up tension there. *cools down*

The definition of hack when it comes to online forums that are not corporate forums is 'zomg im going to run to some random warez site and download a script and read the directions'. Someone threatened to hack myself recently... yeah, he ended up blocking me after he tried inviting a few of his friends in to back up his '1337 hax0rin' skillz'.

Idiots make me laugh. Idiots who think because your a moderator at a very large site you care about the internet make me laugh even harder.

The worst are, as you said, the kissass mods who really don't belong on the staff and kissed as much ass as possible without being blatantly upfront about it, been on far too many sites, and staff teams, where that has happened. Happens here too, we just *generally* sift through them fairly quickly.

Then there are the new people who automatically think they know you best and they know how to moderate best. So you get PMs from them daily telling you what to do... and they think that when they break a rule then it won't matter because your their friend. Pitiful things.

    BIAS BELONGS IN THE DUSTBIN.

    *warns member for advertising*

Advertising by PM to a moderator.. I love it. Stupidity... Goes up up up.

    ^.^
