Irc Designer Tutorials

IRC Graphic Tutorials</span>

In an attempt to get the members of GR to utilise the great resource that is IRC, a new idea has been brought forward. Every week, a designer will give a tutorial on how to make a certain piece, or general tips on improving everyones work. This will be done in a IRC room specifically for this purpose and mods will be there to ensure no one tries to ruin the experience.

Why?
- Allows people newer to Photoshop learn from those who are experience.
- Even experienced users will discover new techniques.
- The Designer earns some creds.
- And hopefully, people enjoy it.

The Designers
- Will recieve 500 credits upon giving the tutorial.
- Will apply to the position of tutor via the "Application" thread.
- Only designers that the staff deem worthy get the chance to earn the credits.

Sweet idea,

should be an interesting one ^_^

hmm depending on my work schedule ill see what i can do to help

Its a good idea

Awsome idea, however i think alternate times should be considered. Not sure what time the would fall on here but its either eairly in the morning or late at night.

10pm gmt for U.S. is like
2pm west coast
and 5pm east coast i think

but ya great idea sounds cool

That's roughly right.

It's going to be impossible to find the perfect time for everyone, but, the chat logs WILL be all posted so you can see what was said anyways. No one misses out

Nice IDEA although I am GMT+4 and on sunday.. Hmm I can be online

Come on guys, applying takes a few minutes and if you do it it's an easy 500 Credits.

I think everyone is nervous about applying first, maybe a mod should start it off.

Yeah, I was going to say if we get no applications then I'll step in and do the first one. Unfortunately, I won't be here. Going to have to force a Com Mod to do it...Pheeeenoooom.
