Compatibility

    I was thinking about upgrading my ram and graphics card but i need to know which graphics card would work on my computer the mother board i have is ASUS P5VDC X and im willing to spend up to 100 euros for my graphics card. I'm just trying to find a a really good deal for a card. So which ones do you recommend?

    Your board has AGP x8, and PCI-e x16, but the PCi-e bus only runs at x4 speed, so I'm not sure which cards will run on it, but I'm guessing that the mid range cards will.

    I'd reccomend an ATi X2600, they weigh in at around 90-100 euros. This one or this one should be able to run most games a mid to high settings, and it's DX-10 capable, so it's future proofed for a bit.

    I have a question about that card does it have pixel shader 3.0? or not?

    Yeah, all Ati card from the X1000 series and above have pixel shader 3.0
