Ok, I'm making a new desing in the Cinema4D, but I have a problem, the "model" is just a tribal with a little "Y" extrude (only 15px), the problem here is when I add the material (with a bitmap for the texture) the C4D apply it in the sides (where are the 15px) and no in the front of the model, I changed the "Projection" of the material to frontal but doesn't work in the "Perspective View"... How can I chose the place of the material?

I tryied to make editable the object, select the side and apply the material bt doesn't work...

    Ok, here's the screenhots

Up-Left: Only the material, no changes... If ou see the material is in the sides.
Down Left: Now is in frontal, but is wrong, I want the material took the shape of the model (I did the texture with the same size and shape)
Up-Right: Material only in the selection.
Up-Down: Only in the selection but with "Frontal" setting.

Sooo... I can't do it xD

try to group the items and then drag the material to the top layer which will be as Null.

that should work, u have all your layers put together as in the screenshot. not sure what the problem could be. maybe trying putting some light on it? not sure how else to help but hope you figure it out. u can save the file and then close and reopen and put the mat in again???

look at it from the f1 view where everything should be colored in.

Uhh, what you wanna do is:

Select the parts that you want to have the mat applied.
    Go to Selection>Set Selection.

You'll see a triangle tag, click on that and rename it whatever. Apply the new mat to your object and put the selection to whatever you named the tag.

if that's what you mean O_O

I've got a feeling it's not working because you didn't add the mat to both caps.
    (Bottom right screenshot)

    Cap 1 = Sides
    Cap 2 = Top

That's why i wanted to see the C4D file, but meh give it a try yourself
